The Italian Stallion,arguably the finest looking cars on the road,the new gt is awesome looking.

Problem is they are a bit prone to engine failure 1.8/2.0 twin spark units,mainly bottom end and it has fair share of overheating as well taking the head gasket out.

If you are thinking of buying a Alfa Romeo please take a specialist mechanic with you,these are a very complicated pieces of kit.

WARNING

The 156/147 bonnet safety catch,prone to pop up and smash your windscreen and front of roof,i don't think there was an official recall for this item but i have heard many reports mainly from AA/RAC mechanics about this problem,so please be aware!!!
